Requirements for delivery of a sunbed

 

• The sunbed is 2.2M (7 ft)tall and needs clearance on top of this of 10cm ( 3 inches) so the ceiling of the room must be a least 2.3M (7 ½ ft) high.

• The sunbed is a powerful electric device and needs two 240v wall sockets to operate.  It will not work off a ‘two way’ or ‘multi way’ extension.  The leads on the bed are 6 metres (20 ft) long which should be fine for most houses and in the event it is not we can provide extensions.

• Due to the above it cannot be located near sources of water, or damp, I.e. Bathroom/shower rooms.

•The floor needs to be relatively flat i.e. Not a slope.  We do provide a board so if your floor isn’t quite even then it will be fine.

• The unit needs no more than 1 square metre ( 3ft) to stand in and a further 50cm (2 ½ ft)  clearance for the door to open.

• There is no problem with locating the unit in an upstairs room and is completely freestanding.

• It would be helpful if the way to the room the bed is to be located in is cleared of debris such as shoes etc, and that doors are able to open to their fullest.

• Again it is helpful if the van is able to reverse up as close as possible to the door, but at the very least the access to the door must be clear to allow the bed to be carried in not too close to any cars.
